The Holy Land with Aglow

We offer packages that are tailored to suit you and your group. Below is a brief sample itinerary, designed to give you an experience you'll never forget.

Day One

Flying into Tel Aviv you will be greeted by your driver and host guide.

You will be able to get to know your host guide and enjoy the breathtaking views as you journey towards your hotel in Jerusalem.

Second Day

Day Three

Enjoy breathtaking views over Jerusalem today from the Mount of Olives, the place where Jesus taught his disciples the Lord's prayer. Continue to the Garden of Gethsemane where Jesus sweated blood on the night of his arrest.  Visit the house of the High Priest Caiaphas and the Upper Room, where Jesus and His disciples celebrated the Last Supper.

Day Four

After an early start, you will walk the Way of the Cross, beginning on the spot where Jesus was condemned to death. The cobbled streets will lead you to the Holy Sceplechure, the place where Jesus was crucified on Calvary. Afterwards you'll visit the Western Wall, the last remnant of the Jewish Temple from the time of Jesus. Enjoy a free afternoon relaxing and exploring Jerusalem.

Day Five

Travel down the Jordan valley stopping at the river Jordan, the spot where Jesus was baptised before passing the base of the Mount of Temptation. Here the Devil tempted Jesus during his forty-day fast. From here you'll pass the ancient site of Qumran, and view the cave where the Dead Sea Scrolls were found. This afternoon experience floating on the Dead Sea, the lowest and saltiest place on earth!

Day Six

After breakfast, you will drive to the summit of Mount Tabor, site of the Transfiguration and celebrate Holy Mass in the Basilica. From here you will head north to Nazareth and visit the site of the annunciation before continuing to Galilee and enjoying time to rest and take in the breathtaking views over the region where Jesus worked many miracles.

Day Seven

Enjoy a relaxed day today with a morning boat ride on the Sea of Galilee. Upon returning to the shore you  will have the opportunity to see the Jesus Boat, a 2000 year old vessel which could have been the boat which Jesus sailed the Sea of Galilee. Return to your hotel and enjoy time at leisure.

Day Eight

The Mount of Beatitudes, where Jesus proclaimed His great Sermon on the Mount is where you will begin today. Just a few minutes from here you will go to Tabgha, the miracle of the feeding of the 5,000. After celebrating Mass you can stroll down to the shore where the resurrected Jesus appeared to the apostles and the extraordinary great catch of fish happened.

Day Nine

Before flying home today, you may travel along the beautiful Mediterranean coastline to Caesarea, an archaeological monument which is the former capital of Judah. Onwards you will visit Haifa and the world heritage Bahá'í gardens before stopping at a monastery on Mount Carmel, situated above the cave where the prophet Elijah once lived.
