Day 1 

Upon landing at Lisbon Portela Airport, make your way to the baggage claim area and collect your luggage. Proceed to the arrival's hall, where you will be greeted by your tour guide and/or

driver. Together you will journey from Lisbon to Fatima.

 

Day 2 

Aljustrel/Valinhos and the Sanctuary of Fatima; 

This morning after breakfast, you will visit Aljustrel, the village where the shepherds where born. Onwards from here you have the opportunity to pray the way of the cross as a group and visit the site of Our Lady’s fourth apparition including the place where the children received the first and third visit of the “Angel of peace”. 

After lunch, get to know the Sanctuary of Our Lady of the Rosary on an orientation tour, visiting the Basilica of the tombs of Saint Lúcia, Saint Francisco and Jacinta; and the Chapel of the Apparitions, the place where Our Lady appeared. The day will conclude with Holy Mass before returning to the Hotel for dinner.  

 

Day 3 

Batalha, Nazaré and Alcobaça; 

This morning you will visit the Monastery of Santa Maria da Vitória, one of the most interesting XV century European gothic constructions in the area, classified a UNESCO world heritage site in 1985. Nazare is an extraordinary and traditional Portuguese beach with the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Nazareth, which dates back to the XIV century when the King Dom Fernando came on a pilgrimage. There will be Holy Mass in this Church. Afterwards, you will visit Alcobaça, the first and largest gothic church in Portugal with the tombs of D.Pedro and Inês de Castro, known by its love story. At the end return to the hotel and dinner. 

 

Day 4  ​

Enjoy free time in Fatima today. There will be Holy Mass for the group, the appointed time and place will be confirmed by your local guide. Evening dinner. 

 

 

Day 5

After breakfast you will journey slowly to Lisbon stopping at Santarem, home to a 13th-century Eucharistic miracle. From here you will visit Belém Tower, a point of departure of some of the Portuguese maritime explorations, such as on the Monument to the Discoveries. Afterwards, you will visit Saint Jerome Monastery a masterpiece of the “Manueline” style, then the St. Anthony Church where you have the opportunity for Holy Mass. From here your guide will take you on to Alfama, an old and traditional district, with the opportunity to visit the most important squares of Lisbon such as the monumental Trade Square; Rossio Square, the heart of Lisbon and the symbolic Restauradores Square.
